Oil & Gas
Distributed assets and long lead times make spares availability a production question. Material records created plant by plant leave the same part under several numbers, so consolidated stocking decisions are impossible without cleansing and an interchangeability view first.
Refining & Chemicals
Turnaround planning depends on knowing exactly which spares exist and where. Unusable descriptions and duplicate records push planners into emergency buying during the window when it costs most.
Power & Utilities
Regulated availability targets and aging equipment fleets mean critical spares cannot be guessed at. Equipment Registers and material masters need to agree before stocking parameters mean anything.
